Women’s Basketball Player of the Week: Zamiya Passmore, Lander

Passmore lit up the scoreboard in two games last week, averaging 27.5 points per game.  The freshman from Locust Grove, Ga., shot .686 from the field and .500 from three-point range to go with 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.  She opened with 28 points on 12-for-16 shooting with three boards and two steals in a 77-70 win over Anderson.  She then scored 27 on 12-for-19 shooting, five boards and four assists in a loss to Limestone.  Her 28 and 27 point games are the two highest single-game totals by a player in the PBC this season.    Passmore is currently third in the PBC in scoring and fifth in field goal percentage.
