Runner of the Week: Nicole Maitland, USC Aiken

Maitland picked up her first career victory in a multi-team event as she captured the Blue Hose Invitational on Friday in Clinton, S.C. The sophomore covered the 5k course in 19:47, her second sub-20 minute 5k in the last three weeks, to hold off FMU’s Kelly May and Lander’s Ogla Nunez-Lopez. Maitland also becomes USCA’s first-ever PBC Runner of the Week.
