Volleyball Player of the Week: Christine Carroll, USC Aiken

Carroll was nearly unstoppable at the net over the weekend, averaging 4.67 kills per set while hitting .422 as the Pacers went 4-0 to improve to 7-0 on the season.  The senior middle blocker from Cincinnati, Ohio had double-digit kills in all four matches with 19 in only three sets (6.33/set) against Lee, the fourth-most kills in a three-set match in school history.  She had only 10 attack errors in 109 total attacks, added 11 total blocks and four digs.  Carroll is second in the PBC in kills per set and hitting percentage and ninth in blocks per set.
