SAVANNAH, Ga. – No. 8 (Oracle/ITA Division II) Flagler College rolled to a 5-1 win over No. 38 Georgia College in a NCAA Division II Southeast Regional No. 2 women's tennis match Monday afternoon at the Armstrong Tennis Complex.

Flagler won its fourth consecutive match against Georgia College and improved its record to 20-4. The Saints have posted back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since the 1989 (23-1) and 1990 (21-5) seasons. Flagler went 21-7 last year.

Kelly Burge and Mary Jo Nanti got things started with their sixth consecutive win in doubles, 8-2, over Macy Polk and Hannah Serdinia. Lizanne Jinkertz and Patrycja Maslanka won their fourth match of the season with an 8-3 decision over Jena Kelly and Emma Niemi. The Bobcats registered a win at No. 3 to avoid the sweep.

Leading 2-1 going into singles, Maslanka, Felicitas Runkel and Burge made quick work of their opponents as each won in straight sets. Burge raised her singles record for the year to 29-5 and will look to become the first 30-win player in the Division II era at Flagler. Maslanka ran her record to 18-5 while Runkel sports a 24-10 record.

Flagler will be looking for its first win against Armstrong in the history of the series (0-15). The two met in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament semifinals (April 22) where the Pirates escaped with a 5-3 win.
