Women’s Soccer Defender of the Week: Olivia Dumphy, North Georgia

Women’s Soccer Defender of the Week: Olivia Dumphy, North Georgia

Dumphy contributed on both offense and defense as #18 North Georgia went 2-0 last week. The senior from Dawsonville, Ga., scored both goals in the Nighthawks’ 2-0 win over Young Harris, both coming on free kicks.  She then played 81 minutes and was not on the field when Albany State scored a lone goal in a 3-1 UNG win.  Her two goals were her first two of the season while the shutout was the PBC-leading 10th of the year.  The North Georgia defense also leads the PBC with a 0.55 goals against average with just nine goals allowed in 16 games.
