Women’s Soccer Player of the Week: Amanda Bartholomew, Georgia College

Bartholomew takes her second consecutive weekly honor after scoring two goals and adding an assist in two Bobcat wins. The junior from Peachtree City, Ga., had the game-winner with an assist in a 3-1 win over Lander, then scored the game-winner as GC upended #8 Columbus State 2-1.  Bartholomew leads the PBC with 20 goals on the season, becoming the first player to reach that mark since 2009.  Her 20 goals is tied for ninth-most in a single season in PBC history and she is currently ranked third in the nation in total goals, goals per game and points per game.
