Eleven PBC Women's Golfers Named WGCA All-America Scholars

Eleven Peach Belt Conference women's golfers have been named All-America Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).  UNC Pembroke led the league with five selections while North Georgia had three, Young Harris two and Flagler one.  The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

This is the third year in a row that the PBC has placed 10 or more women's golfers on the WGCA team.  The team covers all three NCAA divisions with 1,097 golfers recognized this year.
