Wayne cemented her status as the PBC’s leading scorer as she averaged 29.5 points per game in two outings last week. The junior from Lawrenceville, Ga., opened with 31 points and eight rebounds in a loss to North Georgia, then scored 28 with nine boards in a win at Augusta. The 31 against UNG is tied for the second-most in a single game in the PBC this season and for the most in a conference game. She hit 4-of-5 three-pointers and 7-of-8 free throws in the win. She also hit 11 of 14 from the stripe against Augusta. Wayne added 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game. Her 22.0 points per game leads the PBC and is currently seventh nationally. She is also second in the PBC in three-point percentage and sixth in steals.
