Georgia vs. UNC Pembroke
UNCP Head Coach John Haskins
"As has been the case all year, our defense gave a chance to win
today."
"we started the game really, really slow and struggled to score the
entire first half."
"Difference is they make 11 three pointers and we turn it over 23
times against a 2-3 zone, which is very, very poor."
"They hit a couple of big threes down the stretch."
"We had a couple of empty posessions (down the stretch) where we
could have put a little on them, but rushed it and made a couple of
unforced errors."

win"

Tournament...feels good to come in after a pretty tough season and
get the win."

like a boxing match. They're going to hit us pretty hard and we'd
have to turn around and
answer and hit them right back."
"we did a good job of answering when we needed to."
"Says a lot about the character of our players."
"We shot the ball a lot better (in the first half)...I thought they
(UNCP) stepped it up in the second half and were really coming at
us....that altered our
shots and changed the way we played a little bit."
North Georgia's Syretha
Marble
