We begin with a game of the year candidate as Armstrong Atlantic State went on the road and pulled off a huge 92-91 upset of #7 Francis Marion in overtime.  The Lady Pirates end FMU's 17-game winning streak and hand the Patriots their first home loss of the year.  Lindsay Holmes knocked in two free throws with nine seconds left to give AASU a four-point lead.  FMU's Eboni Fields hit a three a the buzzer to trim the lead to one.  Lacey Willis led AASU with 22 points and 17 rebounds while Dartayvia Thomas added 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The other overtime game was in Pembroke where UNCP, playing in their home finale, beat GCSU 64-61.  LaVontay Johnson scored 17 points with 10 rebounds while JaToya Kemp added 14 points and 10 boards.  The loss drops GCSU a spot in the standings down to fourth, just a 1/2 game ahead of AASU and USCA.

The comeback of the year was in Dahlonega where Lander was down 17 points at halftime only to roar back and beat North Georgia 73-69.  The Bearcats shot 56% from the field in the second and outscored the Lady Saints 52-31.  Nardia Robbins had 18 points, four assists and five rebounds whle Shannon McKever added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Columbus State went on the road and beat Augusta State 67-64.  Phebe Smith set the CSU single-season rebounding record as she went for 24 points and 14 boards, giving her 321 this season.  Smith can break the single-season scoring record in her next game.  Hali Moore added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Cougars.

Clayton State took care of business as they beat USC Aiken 67-59.  Nikkisha Pritchett scored 15 points while Brittany Hall added 11 points.  USC Aiken's Meredith Legg became the 14th player in NCAA history to hit 300 three-pointers for her career.
