Softball Player of the Week: Keeli Waugh, Columbus State

Waugh hit .667 (10-for-15) on the week with five home runs, eight runs scored and 15 RBIs, while slugging 1.733. The senior outfielder went 7-for-9 in a doubleheader at UNC Pembroke with a PBC record two grand slams in the opening game, while tying the PBC record for RBIs in a conference game with eight. She then bashed two more home runs with five RBIs in the second half of the doubleheader.  Waugh homered again in the opening game against Francis Marion on Saturday.  She is now tied for fourth in the PBC in home runs.
