Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week: Theo Blachon, Clayton State

Blachon played all 196:35 of Clayton State’s two wins last week as they remain atop the PBC standings.  The junior from St. Etienne, France, recorded his eighth shutout of the season in a blowout win over North Greenville.  He followed that up by making seven saves and allowing two goals, one on a PK,  as the Lakers beat #7 Francis Marion 3-2 in double overtime.  Blachon is tied for the league lead and tied for 13th in NCAA Division II with eight shutouts on the year.  He is also 12th nationally in save percentage and second in goals against average.
