Golfer of the Week: Billy Shida, Georgia College

Shida posted three straight sub-70 rounds to win the Matlock Collegiate Classic last week, winning the first tournament of his career by five strokes over his nearest competitor.  Shida's 67-69-69 was the first time since 1995 a golfer at the Matlock had posted three rounds in the 60s, the time before that was by LSU's David Toms in 1989.  The senior was one of two players to post a tournament-low round of 67, which is also tied for the fifth-lowest round in the PBC this season.  His efforts helped Georgia College to a second-place finish in the tough 15-team field.  Shida, who won the David Toms award in 2010, is now second in the PBC with a 71.9 stroke average on the season.
