Baseball Player of the Week: Nick Debo, UNC Pembroke

Debo hit .700 with a 1.300 slugging percentage in a three-game weekend series with Shepherd.  The senior from Durham, N.C., hit three doubles in the opener, driving in a pair and scoring once.  He had three more hits in game two and homered in game three, giving him three RBI on the weekend.  He drew a pair of walks for a .786 on-base percentage and stole a base.  The right fielder was also perfect defensively with five putouts.  Debo is one of two PBC players to open the season with a  .700 batting average to lead the conference, he is also second in slugging percentage and doubles.
