CSU Women's Soccer Partners with Habitat for Humanity

Columbus, GA - The Columbus State women's soccer team last week helped build two homes for Habitat for Humanity. All 23 members of the squad helped with all aspects of building a home. The team poured concrete mix, filled in the foundations, graded the foundations, and helped level off the frames.

"We had a terrific time working on the houses. It was also a great workout for our players. I'm so thankful for this great opportunity and I hope we'll take the time to see the finish result," said head coach Jay Entlich.

"We had such a great time building the houses. I got to work on projects that I would have never done in my lifetime thanks to this experience," said sophomore Leslie Mathews.

"What a truly gratifying experience for our entire program. The construction workers on site were very accommodating and taught us how to properly build the foundation for these new homes. I can't wait to go back and see the finished product," said assistant coach Megan Kolts.
